The specification was to provide a clear and concise static website that presented a professional image appropriate to the market that they were operating in. They specifically wanted to avoid the use of any gimmicky Flash that would detract from the serious and conscientious nature of the service. Rob Jackson, Managing Director, had been disappointed to receive estimates of around the £5,000 mark for what was in essence a straightfoward task. After identifying the areas of over specification in previous tenders (designed to add value, or perhaps cost!) a significantly lower estimate was provided and the new website was live on the Internet within seven days. Pooper Scooper provide a dog waste removal service; a trend which is big business in the US and Rob believes will soon take a firm hold in the UK. The specification for this website was quite different to 227 Environmental's as the target audience was the general public and Rob felt that a more fun image would be appropriate to the market.
